Reason to Get A tumblr™ Account

We've all heard the buzz phrase "comfort food," that is, "food prepared traditionally that may have a nostalgic or sentimental appeal." For some folks, it's mac & cheese. For others, it's chocolate ice cream. For me, it's S.O.S..

But what about comfort sounds? For me, it's the I.T.C. intro (see above). Back in the day, it was the clarion call summoning me from the mundane, uncomfortable world of my awkward adolescent existence to the vibrant worlds of The Muppet Theater, Moonbase Alpha, The Village, and SHADO HQ.

This hit me when I ran across it on my new favorite tumblr blog: Faded Earth.
